What he brings to a marketplace

A marketplace lives or dies on its listing pages: the picture, the words under it, and how quickly a seller can get from a garment on a chair to something somebody else wants to buy. That is a delivery problem before it is a code problem, and it is the kind of problem Israel Joffe has spent his career on. A career spent looking at pictures

Before the project plans there was the media side. Israel Joffe's media and IT background runs through Fox 5 News, ABC News, Fox News, and Starwood / Marriott — newsrooms and hospitality groups where an image is judged in about a second. Muck Rack lists his work as seen in Newsweek, Yahoo, WNYW-TV, WTVT-TV and Greenwich Time.

That is the eye a resale app needs. When fashionistas.ai asks a seller for one photo and turns it into an item ID, a price and a listing, the questions being asked are the old editorial ones: is this frame clear, does it show the thing, and does it make someone stop scrolling. He also built and maintained websites and social media for WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz at World of Unpredictable Wrestling in Brooklyn — years of posting, re-posting and keeping a feed alive, which is what a shop page is.
